Remove PDF Watermark: what to know before you start
Two kinds of watermark, two different outcomes
Some watermarks are separate annotation objects sitting on top of the page - the type produced by "add watermark" features in PDF software. These can be deleted cleanly, leaving the page underneath exactly as it was.
Others are drawn directly into the page content stream, or are part of a scanned image. There is no boundary between them and the real content, so nothing can lift them out. They can only be covered.
Upload the file and the tool checks which kind you have before you commit to anything.
When covering is the only option
If the watermark is baked in, drag a box over it in the preview and choose which pages to apply it to. A rectangle in your chosen colour is drawn permanently over that area on those pages.
This works well on a watermark sitting in a margin or corner, and poorly on a large diagonal stamp across the middle of the text - covering that would obscure the content you are trying to read. There is no honest way around that limitation.
A note on what you are removing
Removing a watermark from a document you own or created is routine. Removing one from licensed stock material, a purchased template or a paywalled report to disguise its origin is a copyright matter, and this tool is not the right answer to that problem.
