Will the Word file look exactly like the PDF?
The words, paragraphs, headings, bold and italic text, fonts and pictures come across. What does not: table borders, coloured boxes and text placed at exact positions, because a Word document flows text instead of pinning it in place. If you only need to change a few words and keep the look, use the PDF Editor instead.
Can it convert a scanned PDF to Word?
Yes. Pages that are pictures of text are read with OCR, so you get editable words instead of an image. Pick the language of the scan for the best accuracy. Up to 50 scanned pages are read per file.
Does it work with Arabic PDFs?
Yes. Arabic text comes out in the right order, set right-to-left, with the letters as normal Arabic characters you can search and edit. For scanned Arabic pages, choose Arabic as the scan language.
What about tables?
The text of a table comes across line by line, but not as a Word table with cells. For figures you want to keep in a grid, copy them from the PDF or rebuild the table in Word.
