Accuracy of results

Every tool is tested, but PDFs vary enormously and no converter handles every file perfectly. Always open and check a result before relying on it or submitting it anywhere. We are not responsible for a rejected application, a missed deadline or a printing error arising from an unchecked file.

Security and redaction tools

Password protection uses AES-256 encryption, which is strong. PDF permission flags - print, copy, edit - are instructions that reader software chooses to respect, and are not a security control.

Redaction removes the text under the boxes you draw only when the option to do so is left enabled. If you switch it off, the black box covers the text visually but the words remain in the file. Verify a redacted document before sharing it.
